3D Game Art Outsourcing: Characters, Environments and Props

Mindshare Solution is a 3D game art outsourcing studio that models characters, creatures, environments and props for games. We work for game studios, publishers and real-time teams that need extra production capacity, with assets prepared for Unreal Engine, Unity or the renderer you use.

At a glance

  • Deliverables: Game-ready characters, creatures, environments and props.
  • Tools and engines: ZBrush, Blender, 3ds Max and Substance 3D; Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Who it is for: Game studios, publishers and real-time teams needing extra capacity.
  • How we work: Project-based, flexible support or a managed production pod.
  • Related work: Elite Residence tours; team-member work on Cardano Island and MAIANS.

Work begins from what you already have: concept art, references and existing in-game assets. For a new style, we usually produce a sample asset first so you can approve the look, and proportions and silhouettes are signed off at blockout, before detail work begins.

Our artists are used to working inside someone else's art direction. Before production starts, we review your style guide, reference boards, polycount and texture budgets, naming conventions and target platform, so the first assets you see already fit the rest of your game.

From reference to engine-ready asset

Most assets follow the same path. We block out proportions and scale first, so silhouettes can be approved early. Organic forms are then sculpted in ZBrush, and hard-surface and base meshes are modeled in Blender or 3ds Max. Retopology for real-time use and UV layout follow, then PBR textures and materials are created in Adobe Substance 3D. Each stage has a review point, so your feedback lands while changes are still cheap.

Final files are exported to the formats and folder structure agreed during scoping. If your team works in Unreal Engine or Unity, we can also check assets in the engine for scale, material setup and level-of-detail behaviour before handover.

Ways to work with us

Some clients send a single hero character or a fixed list of props. Others need ongoing asset production next to their own art team. We support both: project-based work with milestone payments, flexible support where our artists work under your leads, or a managed production pod for larger asset pipelines.

Everything you need to know about working with us.

Yes, we match your art style by working from your references, style guide and existing assets. For a new style, we usually produce a sample asset first, so you can approve the look before we move into wider production.

We sculpt in ZBrush, model in Blender and 3ds Max, and texture in Adobe Substance 3D, then prepare assets for Unreal Engine or Unity. Export formats, scale, naming and material setup are agreed during scoping, so the files drop into your pipeline without rework.

Once the project is fully paid, you own the final deliverables named in the project agreement. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we may show the completed work in our portfolio.

A 3D modeling project is priced after we review your brief, based on asset count, complexity and level of detail. Project-based work is billed at agreed milestones, usually with a deposit before production starts. Ongoing support can be billed at an hourly or weekly rate.

Yes, through flexible support our 3D artists can work under your leads, inside your tools and review process, for as long as you need extra capacity.
